Andrew Lanning

The electronic security industry is undergoing a rapid digital transformation. Not since the standard security system changed from analog to IP network connectivity in the late 90's, have changes to the people, the processes, and the products been so pervasive. The driving industry forces we'll be discussing are:

  • Cultural Risk Awareness
  • Protocols and Regulations
  • The IT Mandate
  • Bodies of Security Excellence

Andrew Lanning is the Co-Founder of Integrated Security Technologies, celebrating its 20th anniversary this month. Andrew is the Chairman of the PSA Security Network Cyber Security Committee, a member of the Security Industry Association Cyber Security Advisory Board, and a member of the Underwriter's Laboratory's 2900 Series Standard for Software Cybersecurity for Network Connectable Products development group. He serves locally on the Board of Directors for the Hawaii Information Communication, and Technology Association, as well as the Rotary Club of Hickam Pearl Harbor. Andrew is a US NAVY veteran with an undergraduate degree in social sciences from the University of Hawaii at West Oahu, and Masters degree in Communications from Hawaii Pacific University.
