Electronic Security: The State of the Industry

The electronic security industry is undergoing a rapid digital transformation. Not since the standard security system changed from analog to IP network connectivity in the late 90's, have changes to the people, the processes, and the products been so pervasive. The driving industry forces we'll be discussing are:

  • Cultural Risk Awareness
  • Protocols and Regulations
  • The IT Mandate
  • Bodies of Security Excellence

Andrew Lanning is the Co-Founder of Integrated Security Technologies, celebrating its 20th anniversary this month. Andrew is the Chairman of the PSA Cyber Security Committee, a member of the Security Industry Association Cyber Security committee, and a member of the Underwriter's Laboratory's 2900 Cybersecurity Series standards development group. He serves locally on the Board of Directors for the Hawaii Information Communication, and Technology Association, as well as the Rotary Club of Hickam Pearl Harbor.
