As State Chief Information Security Officer, Vincent Hoang is responsible for securing State government information resources and infrastructure. He brings 20 years of experience in developing and implementing effective information technology strategies, including the application of cybersecurity, network management, and systems design to improve business outcomes. Before being employed at the State of Hawaii, Vincent worked for Hawaiian Telcom, Bank of Hawaii Munger, Tolles and Olson in Los Angeles. Vincent holds a wide variety of technical competencies and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Systems Auditor (CISA).
